Looks like my closest seller (I'm in the US) is 1500km away...in Mexico!

Kirby Allison carries a wide range of Saphir:

Interesting! Strange they don't include them as a retailer on their website. I've been burned by purchasing items like this from unauthorized retailers before.

Isn't Kirby Allison selling it from the US (https://www.kirbyallison.com/shoe-care.html) ? I don't know the rest of the US shoe care market so well but I'd expect that there are quite a few sellers for Saphir products in the US.
Oh we were trying to get him to review our handwelted shoes against the others but apparently he only covers heritage brands. I guess we can try reaching out again in 50 years :box:

Maybe you could contact people like Trenton & Heath, Elegant Oxford, Vladimir Riche, He Spoke Style, etc. to compare the shoes or are you also looking at someone who has a more vast collection/understanding with subscribers?

Oh we don't reqlly have any preference and so we will definitely contact them. If anyone has intros that would be great. Its a shame because Kirby Allison is all about craftsmanship, and so are we.

They could definitely get Gentleman's Gazette as they already frequently review contemporary clothing such as Gucci, Burberry or Canada Goose.

But in this case I think it'd be much more interesting to have more sneaker oriented people review them. Of course not just those fashion / sneaker market YouTubers which don't get into quality aspects at all but I'm pretty sure there are also quite a few which actually know about shoe construction and different leather qualities.

Why don't you approach Simon Crompton of Permanent Style for a review? He's based in London also and seems to focus on craftsmanship, although more on clothing but he has reviewed shoes in the past including sneakers...

Ah true, then maybe Modest Man or The Kavalier could be good too? @ArchibaldRoh

For some reason thought I was on a different forum about the handwelted shoes and not the sneakers. My bad, but there are definitely many casual style people out there that I am sure wouldn't be apposed to doing it

Regarding sneakers, the jabalíes has an ongoing ranking of leather sneakers. That plus the guy who breaks them apart sounds like a good convo forvthebsneajers.
For the hand lasted I’m not sure who might be the best. Maybe sartorial talks?

I'm selfish...
I'd prefer they stay very niche, so in 6 months I can be like, dammit I meant to order those green anticatos.
And then like magic, my size will still be there waiting for me.
You may be right ? We probably shouldn't promote them too much out of pure selfishness, but on the other hand I really want them to succeed since they're doing such a great job by involving and listening the community so much and by being so transparent about everything (and I haven't even started talking about their amazing price/value).

I hope we can have both, Archibald succeeding and us still enjoying those benefits (regarding the price, value and availability). Even if it may hurt myself in the long run I'll definitely keep recommending them!
