Still? After all that debate? It's like those people who are determined to get a sex change.

Hold on! It's never enough
It's never enough until your heart stops beating
The deeper you get, the sweeter the pain
Don't give up the game until your heart stops beating

Ha! Odd how that relates to mine.

I got mine from making a character on a old video game about 10 years ago. The character was named "Irritated Onion", based primarily for the same reason you did. Funny we both ended up with vegetables for user names.

Fortunately I got away with the entire national gold reserves, art collection and crown jewels.

I have sometimes wanted to change my name to FableKing or to KitonBaloney just for a brief little mischief and then back.

In the species **** sapiens, progenitors commonly provide a vocal utterance for their offspring to be used socially as an identifier distinct from other humans.

Mine is Ken. My mom got it off a Barbie box.

Because Sisyphus was taken:

It was common for Greeks to trace their ancestry back to a "patron" god. For example, physicians would ordinarily claim Asclepius, the god of healing, as their ultimate ancestor. In Plato's texts, Socrates draws a connection between his father's profession as a stone-worker and the most famous of the Greek sculptors, Daedalus. Daedalus, though not a god, was supposedly descended from Hephaestus, and, through him, descended from Zeus. Daedalus is credited with revolutionizing the art form of sculpture by "freeing" the arms and legs from the sides of his statues. This added an element of reality and undoubtedly contributed to the notion that they were alive and moving.
A Joyce avatar seemed fitting and added another layer of allusion.
