Camel is nice, here are a bunch of variations. The shawl one is especially intriguing, I haven't seen a coat like that before.

I like all those camel overcoats but I'm particularly taken by the one with the shawl collar. Very unusual but wearable in a broad variety of settings. Nice coat.

Another very British overcoat. I love the contrast between the formal cut and the
country tweed.

I like how small the chest opening is, very practical in cold weather.

Not as "rakish" looking, but it's what I prefer.

It was intentional, he lives in Minneapolis and wanted it for warmth and walking downtown.

If you have one made you can adjust the amount of opening by increasing the overlap of the front edges or raising the button stance. Either of those adjustments will do it or a combination of the two.

Minneapolis is pretty much the exact same weather as where I live, makes sense!

I'll keep that in mind if I have another one made in the future, thanks.

An interesting bal-adjacent design. It's like a bal, but the front overlaps more. (Ring Jacket Marling & Evans via Lamarche)
I like this a lot. It has all the visual and practical benefits of a DB with more overlap and a similiar collar, but still overall looks like a Bal.

The straight cut is also well done.

When do this seasons RTW overcoats hit the stores? An overcoat is something that I go back and forth on whether or not it is worth it to do bespoke or RTW...
IMO fit is not nearly as critical for an overcoat. Most people look better in overcoats that aren't overly tailored. Having more ease/room in an overcoat compared to a tailored jacket means that the benefits of bespoke are diminished, unless you are looking for a specific fabric or style that you can't find OTR.

agreed...my desire to lean more towards MTM or bespoke would be based upon fabric and styling detail preferences...I am looking for a single breasted jacket with slash/handwarmer pockets and a fly front in a heavy (over 24oz) fabric.

that being said, if I am still keeping my eyes open for any RTW stuff that I like

Not sure how heavy the fabric is but Lemaire's 'straight coat' checks the other boxes I think.

Not sure the brand but everything about this is so good. Camoshita's bals look like they would be similar to this:

Wow, that second photo. What kind of coat is that? As in, what are the words I would use to Google or MTM something like that?? If anyone is looking for the Deveaux coat referenced: https://deveauxnewyork.com/collections/mens-outerwear/products/brown-wool-syd-robe-coat-1
