I'm about a week late on posting this, but I send a huge thank you to @JohnAAG for the gifts. When the package first arrived I thought it was just another careless internet purchase I had made, but when I opened it I was floored. The coffee is FANTASTIC, the journal is legitimately the nicest I've ever handled, the mask has been worn many times already, and the shirt will be worn at a post COVID party. My gratitude can only be conveyed so much through a computer screen, but it all means more than you know.

I'm in the same boat as the others with international shipping. The package I sent out is presumably stuck in no man's land for the time being. Hoping it can get processed soon.
@JohnAAG and the chocolate! I almost forgot about the chocolate since I ate it legitimately as soon as I opened the box. That was 100% the best dark chocolate I've ever had, no exaggeration. Thank you so much.

Glad you enjoyed everything! Did you get the book from Amazon? My account says it was delivered but I just want to double check

What book was it?! I buy a ton of books online and just assume any at my doorstep are purchases I've made to add to the pile of books I spend money on but never read. I did see in your note that you mentioned a book but figured maybe it didn't make it in the package? But if it was a separate delivery that makes total sense, and just means that I wasn't paying attention ?

It was High Endeavors. You mentioned you liked inspiring biographies and this one is one of my favorites!

Here it is!! Funny, this was one I actually had no recollection of buying at all, but figured a tweet or something must have swayed me and my wallet. So excited to read this. You’re awesome.

Haha. I thought you were talking about the chocolates at first and I was like “god, weed culture is so boring and cliches with their product naming.”

this book sounds great though. Adding it to my list of books to buy.

Yep, sounds like the herb business two of my high school buddies started a couple years ago, called Joint Ventures

Hmm, Festool consignment?!

That photo right there shows why I prefer the USPS over all others. Not even a dented corner. The ****-shape in which Fedex delivers large parcels is absolutely appalling.

not that it trumps "We disposed of your package"

PS. The Isaia jacket was miraculously unharmed by the leaking garden hose. Who knows if everything was still in the box or not. The cameras have since caught the culprit dropping 70+lb boxes off the back of the truck without ever stepping foot on the ground....however he didn't seem to be on my route much longer, someone else probably caught him first and turned him in.

some kind of pottery, with an unusual kind of drawing inside. Ancient testicular cooling pots?

More bubble wrap and then WHOA! An expertly carved wood box with my logo on it. The wood (what kind is it?) is super dense and heavy and the craftsmanship is top tier. Like a bespoke suit. Whats in the box?

Some Texas Sotol! I have no idea what that is but I am going to find out, love trying new and unusual spirits - this one I have never even heard of before, so super curious to see what it is.

I've only had it once. And, I think the 80 proof is about 40 too low. I was feeling no pain.
