Mad Men has ruined my life. I don't really watch the show, but I often find myself teaching advertising undergraduates who think they will very soon be living an updated version of the lifestyle depicted by the show. They're basically like "oh u gave me a c minus huh well **** you imma be bangin hoes n wearin slim ties n drinkin scotch this time next year."

The label says DIFFUSION. A designer label with the word diffusion on it means it's a lesser priced and lesser quality garment than the designer's primary, and more expensive, collection. It's almost like a licensed brand but not quite.

Is ted lapidus any good? their website says they're only in Dubai and other middle eastern nations with wealth. i see it alot and it doesn't feel too great.

Ok, this is a bit of a sidebar

...but this is indisputibly fake, right? And a REALLY bad one at that? (HP label looks off, Japanese sizing label, LP label doesn't look right, no working cuffs, sewn faux buttonholes, no hand stitched lapel, etc.):

I didn't realize/wouldn't think that nice SR tailors would be faked. It just doesn't seem like they're widely known enough to fake. Though I guess it makes sense...anything high cash value makes for a good target.

FWIW, I've seen that LP label before.

Whats wrong with japanese sizing labels?

alot of people go through hell and back to get japansee brands since all suits in thrifts are like 44-46L huge.

i wonder how big some of those guys actually are
