There's probably no other group of people that would appreciate this, so I'm happy to post: I've seen countless "valets" in thrift stores, but most have been underwhelming. And then I saw this one: absolutely spectacular. Mid-mod, pure wood (teak?), every surface curved, dowel construction. Just fantastic. Look at this thing (TWSS). Can't see any comps anywhere, but it's staying with me.

@Nataku not sure if someone answered or not, but those BB Peal & Co are 100% Alfred Sargent.

Going forward, all current BB Peal & Co. by is C&J (stuff on the website). Have yet to find out who all the GF stuff is made by in Italy. The new 1818 stuff is junk.

Just picked up a pair of Crockett & Jones brogues.

The size printed inside has been altered by someone, from 8 1/2 F to 8F.

Could this have been done at the factory ?
Anyone see something like this before ?

I wear a size 7 1/2 UK and tried them on, and I would guess they are 8 1/2.
