REMINDER

The gift exchange registration is underway and you have until the 31st of October to sign up! Once names are drawn, no one can be added due to the online drawing format.

To get in on the action, simply PM me and I'll send you the info and link to sign up!

Worried about measuring up in the gift department? Don't worry, it's for fun! If your city doesn't give up a lot of big-name items, local food/booze happens to be incredibly popular among the wish lists.

Afraid you won't know what to get your guy? That's the fun! Which is more enjoyable: trying to figure out what to buy a stranger in another part of the world (who digs through garbage as a hobby) OR sweating it out in a department store on December 22nd trying to find a gift for your wife's aunt who hasn't even bothered to learn your name?

Afraid you'll draw someone you don't like? Good, kill them with kindness by sending a thoughtful gift!

Remember the meltdown Jompso had trying to pronounce this?

Man...I hope he's doing well. Had some of the craziest weekly hauls this thread has ever seen.

Had a pretty good weekend.

Here's Part 1. Blues records (especially 78's) are super hard to come by. I was thrilled to add these to my collection. Here's a few highlights

Part 2.

One stop. According to the staff, there were 5 SUV loads. This was the last of it and most had sold earlier in the week. Ugh. If this was just a sampling of what there was, I am trying to free my mind of what I had missed. Quick and dirty pics with bad lighting. But figured I should snap some photos before they get lost in the shuffle.

1974 Polo RL tweed suit. Not sure if the suede patches were added later by the owner or not. Still insanely cool either way.

Waited nearly 20 years to find this label. Granted I had only been aware of it's existence for 12 of those years, but still. I live in the state that they're made in!
