Used to be all made in England, but possibly some of their shoes are now made in India.
They are transparent about that : "Designed by us in our studio, lasts developed in Northamptonshire by us, patterns developed by our pattern makers, leathers sourced by our leather buyer, prototypes made in our factory to final sign off and then taken to our partner, a beautiful handmade factory in India, where they are made and shipped back to us for inspection and final polishing where required."

Annual rummage sale a local church. Always do well there. In this case, instakop first, research later. Five bucks. I believe these are 1970s bench made hiking boots from the Swiss company Molitor. These things are like tanks. They weigh over 3 pounds each (LOL, not my preferred hiking boot). Fantastic shape with only surface scratches. What are the best options for surface treatment prior to sale? Bick 4 or something else? Experts, any advice appreciated.

I’d get some Nikwax stuff for leather boots. It’s designed to keep the leather supple and waterproof, so should do well for these. Mink oil also works.
