What's the backstory

It's a fitness guy on Youtube that my brother was into for a while. Scott Herman. He sent me that pic once and I laughed pretty hard. It's like he went down the row of Haute Couture shops and bought 1 thing from each store and wore them all together. It's a lot of emphasis on BRAND and MONEY rather than Style.

To quote the Nancy Drew film (2007):

" You have some nice pieces.
They're just not really working together. "

Going to be dadding it up real hard this winter in my Patagonia Better Sweater. You read that right: baby girl arriving Thanksgiving Day. View attachment 1202931

Congratulations! I just googled the date and should she arrive a couple of days early, she‘ll share a birthdate with both my wife and me. I hope you’ve started to thrift some small clothing!

FYI: I found out that it really doesn’t matter what they’re wearing for the first couple of months, they’ll be probably be changed out of it soon enough. The other piece of advice I can offer is that newborns need shockingly little for the first couple of months, so try not to go crazy buying a ton of baby gear!

Anyone need this? Sears 1989? View attachment 1203126

Heh, I worked at that Sears in high school. Met a bunch of real characters while I was there—an old-school company guy who’d been with Sears most of his life until *********** him over in old age; a guy who struck it rich then lost it all on a couple bad investments and had to go back to work, obviously hating his life; a kid who’d smoke a bunch of weed before work then climb up and hide in the shelves of the stockroom and shoot nerf guns at the managers; and so on.

But there was one guy that always creeped me the **** out. Turns out I was right about him: went back a couple years after quitting, caught up with a few of the people still working there, and after some time, laughed and asked if I’d heard what happened to Keith. I could only imagine. They told me one day a group of US Marshalls showed up at that Sears, arrested the guy, and escorted him out. His charge was nothing to laugh about, but his excuse got him on national headlines: https://www.wpbf.com/article/mcso-man-blames-cat-for-child-Appreciation-on-computer/1302242

@matty long legs congrats!

@txwoodworker
I’ve got -no joke- like 20 pair of Lunargrand. Not to be confused with Original Grand (after Nike sold CH off, looks same but isn’t Lunarlon).
I preferred their look over the more “teeth-like” sole of the Zeros. That said, I’ve got 3 pair of the ZGs and they’re very similar in comfort.
I’ve had a lot of the collab ones with Fragment. Obviously this type of shoe isn’t in the same league of quality as shoes that can be resoled but they are very comfortable. Cheap quality materials, even on the fragments that people ask $500+ for.
For dressier style comfort they’re my go to, but yeezys have taken their place for more casual/athletic outfits.
If I get fully unpacked, I have about 20 pairs of those things NIB.

How can you tell? I have Trouble with the ties
The black one.
1. Font spacing on tag is not evenly spaced.
Screenshot_20190706-211020_Chrome.jpg

Should be evenly spaced like so.

The red one and the black one share two same things I see that counterfeit ones seem to have. The small blades logo. The V should be stitched Over the top of the L.

Yours.

Thick stitching and what an LV label looks like. Take note of the V over L.

Lastly I am a big believer in having the yellow stitch. No matter the color, construction or material. To me it should have its yellow stitches.
