so most of this stuff was from the same donation as that last huge haul i made a few weeks ago. Some do-gooder pricer marked this stuff WAY up ($80 for shirts, $200+ for suits). I waited patiently, and snagged it all at 75% off. (Still wasn’t thrilled to pay $20 per shirt and $50 per suit, but i won’t complain.)

Amadeus 100% cashmere. This brand doesn’t seem to get much love on eBay, but it’s REALLY nice.

Do you guys know if thrifts are open on Good Friday? Checking google doesn’t seem to help as most say open, but my closest location told me yesterday they would be closed

So, how’s the thrifting in Toronto? We’re moving in May.

April Fools, of course... When and if we end up in Canada, it’ll be Vancouver Island or Squamish, despite my favoring of the Yukon...

I would assume any thrifts not connected to an overtly religious charity will be open. YMMV

Yup.

I don't recall exactly when, but late 90's-2000? went to the "Silver tab".
(which i covet)
Early- mid 90's was the "white tab"?

Guys, throw me a frickin' bone here. .

I remember Silvertab from the late 80s. By 91 they were in all the outlet stores

Thought this quartz & silver necklace was neat. Probably made for the tourist-trade in the '80s, the packaging is a cassette case.
