S/O to the people who ask for a whole cart of Goodwill glassware to be individually-wrapped at peak hours. Disputing prices for good measure. Four cashiers cleared 20 separate people, and this one old couple *still* held up my line.

Good thing I found some utterly bonkers ****. This was supposed to be a 10 minute pit stop :O

I was there ~18 hours beforehand, and came up dry. I only passed through because I know that this store's immense turnover sometimes means... Well, that things like this happen :D

A bit off topic but it's kind of a brag and about a thrifted item sooo...

Just finished a handstitched full resole on these Edward Green, pretty happy with the result. :)

Dude, you resoled those yourself?!?
I had those same Electric Sunglasses in Highschool!
Well you can get back the ol high school feeling for the low price of probably what retail was

Crazy, I had those too in the early 2000's. Resale is definitely higher than retail was. I think I paid like $80 for them.

Had a line experience during a quick lunch stop the other day. I found a few shirts for personal, go to the line and its 25+ deep, carts stacked full of ****, and I'm at the very end of the line. Ugh.

One of the cashiers is calling the next customer, but no response. He must have been having a bad day, shouts in frustration to the whole line, "DOES ANYONE, ANYONE, WANT TO CHECK OUT? SERIOUSLY, COME ON DOWN."

No one is even paying him any attention...except me. I walk up, pay for my shirts, and save myself 20 minutes.

Sure, in my living room. I've done a couple before but there's nothing too difficult really (except cutting a clean hidden channel, that's the tough part). Time consuming as **** though, finding tools and materials can be tricky also.
wish we could hand you a badass award because... excellent work sir

I havent had time to hit any stores in 5 days but yall got me jazzed

Some records I’m excited about today. Did not expect the NRBQ. Don Williams records are very common in thrifts but I grabbed this one because it’s still sealed. He is my favorite country voice ever, his music reminds me of getting up early for thrift road trips years ago.
