Eh because in-between the Scotland and Us citizen part ,he invented the telephone ...IN CANADA!!!!!

What the hell are you talking about? He invented the phone in 1876 in the U.S. and filed a U.S. patent immediately. He owned a vacation home in Canada and died there, but certainly did not live in Canada when he invented the telephone. He invented it in Boston.

No wait, the Italy thing makes sense. I read on Wikipedia it was Salvatore Ferragamo, who then went on to make shoes that didn't have phones built in to them.

Refer to Bell however you want. We won't be offended. They used to worship Bell near his old family homestead in Brantford, ON. Then Brantford produced Wayne motherfucking Gretzky. Now nobody cares about some old telephone dude. Do they refer to Bell as The Great One? No.

But then Gretzky went on to coach the Coyotes and the Oilers no longer play on Wayne Gretzky Drive. It’s been something like 200* years since Canada has lifted The Cup.

* In Canadian sports years.

And that makes it an American invention by an American ?
Because he FINISHED it over there?
You are confusing INVENTING with PRODUCING
What the hell are you talking about.
Bell himself is on record saying this
Dude I know your MAGA and a Trump mark and I don't wanna get into a whole thing with you but get real.
What's next Basketball was invented in the states too?

Transparent edit,meant to say by a American regarding basketball .it was in the states by a Canadian ...Ohhhhh Canadaaaaaaaa.

If you're claiming Bell, I'm claiming Colonel Sanders since he lived in Mississauga for a portion of his life

You know what blew my mind,did you ever watch Deadwood?
Olyphants Character Seth Bullock in one episode proclaims he's from Etobicoke ,I had to rewind it because I thought I was hearing things .
I grew up in Etobicoke ,so random.

Lol did Trump claim an American invented the telephone .
Yea duh we also invented Canada right after Mexico gifted us Texas
@impuntura Bell was born in Scotland and later became a U.S. Citizen. So just how should we refer to him, without offending any snowflakes?
I believe the official first invention of the telephone is now credited to an Italian inventor.
are you guys for real? seriously, everyone knows that Bobby Valentine invented the telephone after he found Canada and before he invented the wrap sandwich.
Little known fact, the original telephone salutation was covfefe fefe.

Don't worry everyone, I made a Sopranos GIF that clarifies everything!

Man, I gotta get to Austria! Rimowa is still on my bucket list. I keep grabbing any decent condition Briggs and Riley and Tumi as consolation prizes. Now I have way too much luggage. Haha!

Oh don't worry, it's taken me years to find a piece!

C’mon, guys. Let’s not drag people’s political viewpoints into the international thrift waters. It only gets nasty and divisive. In the spirit of moving on, here’s a few pics of interesting things I’ve thrifted this week:

@GetBlatzed **** OFF, asshole.
And stop send PM's about items I posted that you want to buy, then NEVER follow through:
MC Escher shirt, Pendleton board shirt, Charles Manson shirt, etc. I could go on...

@impuntura Act all tough and try to shut people up you disagree with, I don't care.
Trump gave a wonderful speech about the history of my country. Yet for some reason, you felt a need to come on here and post crap about our President, and I responded.
I shouldn't have fallen into your trap, but hey, it's apparently what Liberals live for.
