All the talk of weather...
I went from95 at home to 107 in Sacramento onmy way to Colorado. It was in the upper 40s at the highest point of I-70 yesterday, and it rained during the night. I woke up to temps around 50 in Boulder. A perfect "fall like" morning! I will really enjoy having actual seasons.
Here's a pic from my friends' balcony this morning looking towards the Flatirons.
And here's a shot from the trailhead I ran at this morning (~2 miles from the house we're moving to next weekend).
I did halfway decent at the thrift shop this morning, though I had to leave behind a pair of Isaia slacks with a nearly blown out crotch.
The Unique Thrift in Westminster off the freeway was my thrift spot when I lived in Colorado years ago. Stop in Westminster someday and give that garbage town a middle finger from me.All the talk of weather...

You guys can have your "seasons". I would gladly take months of sweltering heat over months of bitter cold ANY day. Sure, it's fun to wear all of the fun seasonal clothes. However, no amount of layers will ever beat a pair of swim trunks, well-worn t-shirt, and a pair of Birkenstocks.
Be prepared for winter thrift fits of me in aloha shirt, shorts and sandals.
@HansderHund those Raybans are gorgeous. I almost sent you a PM but then I remember my Persols are almost indentical to those.
Paul R. Smith (Paul Smith?) super recent, dual vented, half-lined, linen blend sc: 44R
This is a very unique Paul Smith piece, as I believe the label is written in German (@HansderHund
?)
It also is labeled as a size 26.
