i had a dream last night that I walked into a store and found 6 pairs of Aldens. 3 of them were 30 bucks each, 2 were 715 dollars each and one was 300. (Not shell, seriously, I remember that). I put them in my basket anyway and went to check out, and complained about the disparity in price, and they relented, apologized, and gave them all to me for 30 bucks each and gave me half off everything for their mistake.

Hopefully thats a good premonition.

Also a sign that I do this too much.

West coast morning crue. Working this early Sunday morning should be a crime. Stupid annual reviews! I'll sneak away for a lunch thrift though.

I'm visiting a friend for Super Bowl and I'm planning my thrift routes on the way

#problem

How do I get the confidence to wear loud patterns? I have a number of shirts that look great from Etro, Robert Graham etc but I feel like they should be framed and hung on the wall and feel so self conscious. Are loud patterns more for summer time?

Example I bought this Zegna this week

700

And finally to the gentleman above in the gorgeous 3 piece suit you look like a model lol :worship:

It's best to keep everything else simple and limit it to 1 loud piece. It's important to feel comfortable/confident as you rock it.

I felt it was easier by starting with smaller pieces..socks then shirt under sweater/jacket then pants etc.

Anyone else who give two ***** about the super bowl like this post.
Mahatma and I make chicken wings and nachos every year, but seldom watch any of the game. Last year we did get lucky enough to see the Left Shark performance, and probably re-watched the whole ridiculous half time show at least 3 times in a row.

Damn, dude. Not like you were a huge guy before, but did you lose a ton of weight?

Yes. Down from like a 43R/38 waist to a 40R/32 waist.

Thanks for noticing!

It's fun, but it's not the most important thing in my life.

I do not post much (because I don't find much worthy of this thread) but I found this too crazy not to share.
