Not sure how true this is but my family have told me chinese people like to show off their wealth in an interesting way, sometimes. I mean, I'm poor but if i were affluent, i would prolly show off my wealth by wearing expensive clothes, drive expensive cars, and bang expensive hookers. But some Chinese like to show off by eating rare animals including expensive dog breeds. I have rich family so when we go visit them, they feed us expensive and rare dishes. I was told i ate dog once. Not sure if true but tasted like beef. Haven't had panda, yet. May or may not taste like chicken.

Boom, another Target sweater gone, replaced by a fabulous VV sweater. I've worn it nearly all week, my new favorite (and my favorite color). The purple polo, sure why not. Perfect for layering in these (not yet) cold winters. Had a good chuckle at the ridiculous retail of the Robert Graham... Will need to bust out my wool Swedish trench coat with that Burberry... and a Nice Orvis jacket to top things out.

We had wealthy Asian friends when I lived in Hawaii. I was invited to one of their weddings. Well, they served bird nest soup. I thought that it was just a cute name.... until they explained it to me.
