Question: How do you store the granddad coat in the warmer months? I'm worried that with the weight of it, even on a rounded hanger it will get stretched at the shoulders. Any input is appreciated.
Thick wooden hanger (the ones from thecontainerstore pretty good) and garment bag

Are the rear pockets on balloon trousers supposed to be sewn shut...? Seems like these would be functional pockets if they weren't.

Also, how do restocks generally work? I'm new to this brand, and I'm trying to get my hands on some more balloon trousers but they're out of stock everywhere in my size (48).

Many of their trousers come with rear pockets sewn shut. You just tear them open. Easier on some fabrics than others.

How is the fit on this rain jacket? I’m normally a 52 in tailoring. Would like a somewhat relaxed fit but not too baggy. Would a 50 still fit over a sport coat or should I go with 52?

Hi ! We are considering a restock of the balloon trousers in that fabric alongside the navy cotton drill and cotton denim options. We are also considering carrying those styles over on next summer because they did so well ! It's a great spring/summer fabric option.
@deborah_dbf, will any of the cotton-linen corduroy items be restocked over the course of the summer? Thanks!

Is there plans to sell the linen vest undyed/sand like the one here? Or was that from a previous season?

How does the linen stuff do in the wash? Is it better to dry clean? I have the Arabica painter's jacket and I don't want to shrink it

I hand-washed that exact jacket once and it has lost a lot of color and the fabric’s crispness, and it has shrunk massively. Had to sell it for next to nothing (effectively like 40 Euros per wear 🤪). Also watch out as DBF buttons in my experience are very prone to unravel in the wash. Really love the brand, but the first thing that comes to mind when I think of the pieces I’ve owned is ‘delicate’

I hand washed my linen two pocket overshirt last summer and it shrunk a ton. It's now my partner's.

Oof. These are not the answers I was hoping for. I wonder if it would fare any better with the dry cleaner.
