^ Got the Clyde's also from UM in size 32 and measured at the top of waist they are 32. As I am a 31/32, gave them a hot soak and they did not shrink.

May tailor or just leave .....At $100 will likely jus wear em as they are

Odd, as I know that a couple others had mentioned that theirs ran smaller than the usual plus 2 so that's what I had expected given the depictions as well as UMs size chart. Perhaps the waist varied among different inseams. I wound up with two pairs, a 32X34 and a 33X34 and the 32 most definitely measures a 34" and the 33 definitely is a 35".

Regardless I really like them and they look forward to many wears as they seem quite versatile and as I mentioned, surprisingly comfortable.

Does anyone have any sizing experience with the Norfolks? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I have the OG green ones and size 8 (which is my standard RRL size) fits perfect. I got a pair of the indigo ones from last year (not the newer indigo ones) and size 8 was half a size too small. size 9 was half a size too big though. and they dont make half sizes in them so i was SOL

Insanity sized is more like it. They don't really give a **** about consistency. There's a good chance you could be anything from a 27 to a 30 depending on which pair you put one

So, I can say from experience, why one wouldn't want to wash your rigid/raw jeans too often.

I bought some RRL slim straight rigid denim back in November and have washed them three times in the washer (inside out and then hung dried) since I've owned them. I had to wash them some way as they stink too much after about 3-4 weeks of wear. I wear them a lot almost every day - at work, walking the dog, in a bunch of different circumstances.

After each wash, they have faded more than I expected. I think they were my favorite fade after two washes, after the third time , they are becoming a different shade of blue (perhaps more royal blue than dark).

After a wash, they fit me better, a little it shorter in the length, less baggy in the butt, and less baggy around the knees.

It was my first pair of "raw" denim, and I think I now see why people only soak instead of wash...to loose less indigo each time.

Question: Has anyone dry cleaned their raw/rigid denim (as the RRL site recommends) and do you think it is better then soaking? Would you recommend it?

29 - Naked and famous, Uniqlo,
30 - LVC, 3sixteen, Iron Heart

Have some experience with Naked and Famous as well as 3sixteen.

I would say the waist size of like a low straight is more vanity sized like the former 29 - Naked and famous.

Is it just me or did the price of the rigid low straight and the rigid slims go up $35? Weren't they $240 last season? Am I wrong on this?

Yeah, I noticed that too and I wonder why. Doesn't state that they're using heavier denim or anything that would explain such a steep price increase.

Can anyone tell me if the Palo Alto/Stanford store has none, some, or a decent amount of RRL (mens)...?

Nice, that topcoat looked very sweet. By 'take advantage' do you mean purchase, return in store, keep gift card? If so no, I don't do that as that's beyond what my moral compass would allow for a 'good deal'. To be honest I would consider that borderline stealing.

Regarding the LE Ro-bucks from the past season, I've been wearing them probably about 2 times a week, and have been very impressed with the fading results so far. While still early in their life, here a few pictures of the progress...
