Anyone out there with a pair of 32 or 33 hemp Empire bucklebacks they'd consider trading for a 31? Only worn 4-5 times since I bought them last June since they're way too slim in the upper block for me.

maybe if you knew how to READ I specifically mentioned RRL in this scenario saying "especially a brand like RRL that sells $300 jeans and $200 Belts" not asking how cheap stores like 'hot topic' where you go to buy your $20 jeans and goth crap could expand because frankly, it's quite obvious.

You always an AH or just today...tough Guy.

Hi, common sense here with a tidbit for you:As stores close and malls and other commercial real estate owners are desperate to fill space, companies with liquidity, uncommonly strong earnings & performance and/or strong portfolios can expand, relocate or simply leverage for better rent/lease figures. For further details see current real estate moves by: Hot Topic, Gap, Buckle etc.
f Funnily enough ...in general terms you are witnessing the end of bricks and mortar retail...except for high end...this will be recreational and a seem less leisure , entertainment , experiential experience ...not shopping. Between 2009 and 2014 the number of Americans visiting American malls has fallen by a staggering 40%. If you have shares in Macy's etc ...take the recent rally because it's all margin driven and not revenue growth...Buy Starbucks...the next 5 year they will lead digital retailing ...by a mile. They have already got 1 in 4 US citizens engaged in their MSR card prog...last holiday...eight out of 10 gift cards given in the USA was a Starbucks card...boiling on LY when it was 7 out of 10, This is the model to watch for all retail definitely Apple who are loosing novelty quite fast as they struggle to build an internal culture ... Sadly Tim Cook Just not charismatic enough. Who would you vote for...Shultz or Cook. Anyway...I digress... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Can you both STFU?This thread should be about the clothing, not your opinions on the efficacy of Ralph's business model.OP, you might want to add the Lenox Mall RRL in Atlanta. It's more like a closet than a store, but they get some decent stock.Chad

Well said!

So, I can say from experience, why one wouldn't want to wash your rigid/raw jeans too often.

I bought some RRL slim straight rigid denim back in November and have washed them three times in the washer (inside out and then hung dried) since I've owned them.  I had to wash them some way as they stink too much after about 3-4 weeks of wear. I wear them a lot almost every day - at work, walking the dog, in a bunch of different circumstances.

After each wash, they have faded more than I expected. I think they were my favorite fade after two washes, after the third time , they are becoming a different shade of blue (perhaps more royal blue than dark).

After a wash, they fit me better, a little it shorter in the length, less baggy in the butt, and less baggy around the knees.

It was my first pair of "raw" denim, and I think I now see why people only soak instead of wash...to loose less indigo each time.

Question:  Has anyone dry cleaned their raw/rigid denim (as the RRL site recommends) and do you think it is better then soaking?  Would you recommend it?

Pics would be much appreciated. I bought a pair of slim straights back in December and I haven't washed them yet. I only wear jeans about once a month though. I'm curious to see the appearance of a machine wash versus a soak.

OK...will do so when I get back from traveling. I also owe another poster a picture of the regiment cargo I just got (which I still love).

BTW, In Dallas tomorrow and was wondering if anyone new if the Polo store in Highland Park has RRL. I'm starting to believe RRL is only going to be sold in the dedicated stores though. Palo Alto told me even Fillmore is going to stop carrying RRL in a few months.
