I’m sure it does especially with minimal weeding. We have the long bed by the back of our yard I fought tooth and nail to keep grass. I of course was ignore and now we have a bunch of unkempt Crate Mertle and tons of weeds….

I am not obsessed with maintaining a monoculture lawn so it's minimal for me. The pollinator garden runs wild in its space with occasional cleanup of vines and other invasives. All of these pieces make it a nice space to enjoy.

Todd Snyder store in Georgetown is now open and having a party on Saturday.

I can't make it but their 5-pocket canvas chinos have been my go-to this spring. Definitely want to check out the store and try some other stuff as their website size guide isn't quite precise.

The one jacket I had of theirs required a weird slouch for that was not my natural stance. Shame really because it was a nice texture and color.

Imo, too rugged in all the wrong ways.

Thoughts on this look. My CEO loves denim shirts but thinks they might be out of style. I assured him they are not and I would show him next time I was in the office. Do you think this jacket could work with a similar wash or slightly darker denim shirt with stone chino’s and burgundy loafers?

I think so because of several things like casual levels and colors but I wanted to get more experienced minds. I can use a chocolate sport coat as an alternate.

As an aside do you alter sleeves differently for linen or linen blends to account for roll/wrinkles in the sleeves?

I’ve always altered them like normal. Just avoid lengthening the sleeves as crease usually show with linen or cotton.

Depends on if its chambray or true denim... chambray works better in office but denim is a weekend look for me.

What do you like to do on travels? International or domestic?

We usually go to Florida for a week or two to see family and spend time on a lake/beach. This year we are likely doing a family carribean cruise.
