I have a few Grenadines that might work. Not really into the flat-tipped knit ties, though. Wore them in college way back back when. In all actuality I'd most likely go without a tie with this jacket.

I have a few from Charvet, Capelli, and Shibumi Firenze. they work very well to tone down a busy jacket.

Sam Hober has every option imaginable. And, they are all custom made to your length, width, lining, and your knot preference. I highly recommend Hober for grenadines and any other tie.
I found hober’s ties flat - very 2-dimensional vs 3-dimensional

Wear the jacket without a necktie, polo shirt w/ a proper collar is preferred. Gray flannel trousers and the jacket. Easy combination

Thanks, but again, all set sleeves. It’s strange how difficult it to buy a classic raincoat.

Mackintosh made raglan rain coats for years, maybe they will come back next year, or try ebay?

What would my DC peeps wear for this performance? Tux, suit, polo, jeans and a t shirt?

Dark suit, open collar shirt.

Knit ties only with this jacket please!

Yassss!

smitty, you need to get on the square tipped knit tie train again!

Is your Charvet custom, and western themed? ;-)

First time back in the office in forever.

Rocked the ring jacket and loafers from Yeossal.

Nah, those flat tipped things are goofy. I'd never be able to unbutton my jacket lest someone think my first name was Chip or Biff.

Got some Grenadines at (wait for the flex) Charvet's store in Paris last time I was there. :bigstar:

A knit tie will be added to the suit!

Can you find knit ties with pointed tips or is that not possible?

Kent Wang for starters.

Looks like Shibumi Firenze has them as well. I'm not a huge KW fan anymore.

For some reason point-tipped knit ties don’t like right to me. I’m all about the square ends.

Sid Mashburn’s knit ties are nice and heavy.

Maybe I should give one a try? Last time I wore one I was 22 I think!
