Update on the comparison between Anglo-Italian and Drake’s jeans. I wear a 33 in AI and, after trying on multiple sizes, I settled on a Drake’s 31 as the most similar one. Here are a few pics of the AI (lighter) and Drake’s (darker). Any comments on which one you guys think is the best fit?

Both look good but I prefer the Drakes just bc I like the higher rise. Is that the indigo or stone wash on the Drakes? Fwiw I own both jean brands and my AI’s are also two sizes up from my Drakes.

Thanks, I seem to remember you mentioning the two size difference! Those are the stone wash, but the environment wasn’t very well lit, they are actually lighter than they look in the pictures.

Nice, love the stone wash. I thought Drakes really knocked it out of the park with those jeans. Kinda curious about the new five-pocket cords, too.

Another important point is that the Drake’s ones feel more substantial, to the point that I probably don’t see myself wearing them year-round.

I like the look and fabric of my AI jeans, but I despise how they have a twisted seam on one leg. I hate twisted seams and don’t see how some people say it adds “charm” To the jean or how it’s “nostalgic” in some of the higher end Japanese jeans. I don’t want to pay 200+ to have a twisted seam.

those drakes jeans look sharp on you. I
Prefer the higher rise.

Does anyone have a measurement of the front and back rises on their drakes jeans? Ideally in a 31?

Is the consensus we hit ⌘R far too many times over the weekend and there isn't a sale happening for the foreseeable future?

It felt like there were a few comments hinting at inside information but perhaps that was my wishful thinking.
