Wow, not cool! Looks like someone completely copied Jason @ Makr designs. I'm going to send him this link.

For those that don't know... makr.com. Had my shell #8 Flap wallet for a while now. Love it.

From the look of it, he has been copying MAKR designs for a while now. . .even been selling them on eBay for a long time.

Overpriced? I don't think so, which is why I bought it. Compared to most designer wallets this one is reasonably, if not modestly priced. The difference being that the Whitehouse Cox shell wallet is constructed of the highest quality leather in the world by a company that has been doing it for nearly 150 years. Go check out the Louis Voutton, Gucci, and other overly branded wallets and I will show you overpriced. By the way, Pebble, I feel ya man...

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I am observing a lot of products that are hanging on by a inserting a branded component into their design. Some recent examples: Oak Street Bootmakers, MAKR, Quoddy, etc. Take away the Horween leather and the products become much less desirable. Thoughts?
