1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Ravello is not too easy to come by these days. Very nice score.
Aberdeen, all eyelets, and Ravello. Trifecta my friend. Well done.
Feels like I can just copy and paste with you DonL. Nice shoes, killer outfit. For me, AF53's maiden voyage..... [IMG]

Took a little longer than I hoped but definitely worth the wait. Alden does an incredible job on #8 recrafts.

Is there an Alden last that might work well with a low instep and narrow heels?

I picked these up off Ebay last week, mainly out of curiosity.... but not entirely sure of what I have. The vamp is a shell, and quarters and toe are a grain leather.... anyone familiar with this make-up? :puzzled:

    Nice looking shoes!!

Is that the one in size 8E? Looks like Ravello shell + Alpine Grain to me. But would curious to know which retailer carries this make up.

What's the model number? You may want to shoot Alden an E-mail to find out more info.

Out tonight wearing my natty cxl Indys. I apparently got some oil on them (food oil). I won't bother posting pics. However is there anything I can do?? Or do I just wait for fading and or the sweet relief of death? Thanks in advance.

Interestingly there is no model number. Where the model number should be, it just has "JR".... possibly a MTO from the past?

Yes sir! That's an awesome find! Wonder what shell that is? Looks like a light #8 perhaps #4?

Alden would need to do some digging I think..
