Visited the Old Manse in Concord, MA today. American shoes for an American day.

Morgan boots snd "Kevin Bacon burgers" (1/2 lb of bacon cooked, 1/2 onion sautéed, all mixed with the hamburger meat and cooked in the bacon grease)

I have to give a shout out to Alden today. Sent them an email last week asking if they could send me a pair of shoelaces for my 975's. They sent me 4 pairs, including a pair for my Indy 405's!
All on the house. Got to love those guys.

And that is what makes loyal customers, who buy more new product.

I know we probably shouldn't do this....but....a shoutout to Wyatt and Dad Cobbler Company in Raleigh NC. They did an awesome job on the damaged speed hook, that was pulling out of the shell on my boots. Can't even tell there was an issue.

That's what I heard as well. I may have tracked down a pair, hopefully it plays out.

Thanks, they started life as a light tan calf, but got some citronella oil for a mosquito thing on them, and it would NOT come out, no matter what I tried, and I tried all the normal methods, from cornstarch to baby powder, etc. Finally stripped the finish off and used some Saphir shoe dye but had to go darker than original to match the "spot". That meant, of course, buying a new pair of tan full straps.....**** this can get expensive

Hey Dog.. they look great.. we don’t get hung up on imperfections.. they are shoes after all.. they get worn and imperfections no longer exist.. beautiful dog you have there.. nevertheless.. I only have one dog.. and would trade my entire collection to keep her in good stead..

I have two of these beasts, and would give my entire shoe/boot collection and house and contents to make sure they are well and good. They are the one thing that has kept me somewhat sane during the past year or so. No matter what kind of day I may have, they are ALWAYS glad to see me and always happy to just lay at my feet and be petted. Too bad we, as humans, can't adopt some of dog mindset.

Here is a beautiful pair of natty CXL boots from Carmina’s MTO weekend event, posted on their thread. It can still be acquired. I ordered a pair of natty shell cordovan boots from the event. Fingers crossed. Lol!

I don't know who posted it, and apologize for not remembering, but left boot Pure Polish, right boot Collonil.Not much difference in shine, but the PP smells a lot better.
