YESThis may be a dumb question but I really gotta know if you or anyone else has the answer to it:
are the cordovan Indy (or other boots models for that matter) as comfortable as the CXL and calf?

I will defer to the expert opinion of @audog as I don't have the other leathers, but the comfort level for these started strong out of the box and keeps getting better with every wear.
I have notice that Shell Indys "make more noise" than other leathers, squeaks and such.
