I have the gg laces on my 403. They are a very tight fit and we’re tough to lace up. I’m hoping they will compress over time because I love the look:

Same here, but worth it. Looking good!

Looking awesome! I’ve been waiting for better weather conditions to break out my brasskeys, but now I’m itching to!

AOC all terrain Indies keeping me upright in today’s NYC slush:

Woohoo! Snuff Suede NST boots are headed my way from B&M! Got the notification it hit her shop yesterday.
Nice, I have to wait a week or so to make the second payment so it'll be a bit before I get mine, so throw up some pictures when you get them!

Maiden voyage of the #8 medallion cap toe today. Really good fit and comfortable. I look forward to them getting lighter in color with time. I find it odd that I have the same style in black calf and that I like these much better. It must be the shell.

Definitely the shell. Fantastic pair. They're your Alden version of shell Strands!

I had not thought about it, but you are exactly correct. Fortunately, these fit well and close superbly. The Strands, PAs and others on the AE 65 last would never work for me. That is literally what pushed me to Alden initially.

Just received my first pair of Alden boots, the J. Crew Indys. I originally ordered the wrong size and to be honest, they had some QC issues, but the pair I exchanged them for look great with no noticeable loose grain. I have quite a few cxl shoes and boots and I'm looking to add something in snuff suede to the mix. Does anyone know of an Alden snuff boot with a perf cap toe and some sort of lugged sole? I'm assuming the barrie is similar fit to the trubalance?

Barrie is similar, but less generous for width. I love Barrie.

Not sure about a captoe, but Brick+Mortar has a snuff wingtip boot on commando that is aweosome:

July is just around the corner. Here’s the boot you were speaking of. It’s worth the wait.
