Is there any way that I could be an 11.5C in the Aberdeen (toebox crunch in the 11 size) and a 10.5D in the Van lasted BB unlined penny loafers?? The 11.5C Aberdeen feels really good with a bit of heel slip in my smaller foot. My larger foot feets firmly planted. I brannock an 11D with a 12 heel to ball measurement.

I do have an 11D BB loafer that I bought used which is a bit of heel slip, but not awful. I also have the regular 11D LHS in shell which do seem to have a fair amount of heel slip. I am thinking that the unlined loafer has more give than the 11D LHS which is why it feels better.

I just tried on the 10.5D Van BB loafer and it feels pretty darn good. No heel issues and no pinching anywhere.

TLDR: Is it possible to brannock an 11D, Aberdeen an 11.5C and Van last a 10.5D. Bonus: My AE 65 last size is a solid 11D.

You guys are awesome, thanks.

Also, just a random thought. Does anyone have any interest in a brand new pair of Brooks Brothers black shell tassel loafer in 11.5D?

Never been tried on out of the box. I could sell for $100 less than the MSRP on the website. Shipping would be included. PM me if interested.

Thanks!

Those are nice, very nice.

Thanks Dawg and I agree. Definitely need to put some miles on these pup's.

:rotflmao:Love that, Mrs. Shaunc. Never thought of Mrs. RTP. My wife would probably give me the death-stare if I used that reference. Beautiful Boots!!

Much thanks RTP. Nice to see you back and posting. Not many collections I enjoy more than yours.

A/E would be a hard fit!

Hmm... that's interesting that someone said that about the heels. I could see the general shape being the same, but even sizing down the TB doesn't feel like the plaza heel to me. I'd have to play with width too, maybe. Maybe it's the difference in how far they carry the heel stiffener?

The reason why I went bespoke to get a real good fit...

... but can’t get myself out of the shiny rare shell game.

Got these beauties from a fellow member today. I swear they are almost cigar. The color is beautiful. Can’t wait to see them in natural light. I hate this dark at 5pm thing.

Finally got to wearing my Alden 6 eyelet plain toe chukka from B&M. Got rid of the flat laces and went with round laces. I like this look better on these shoes as they are less formal. Still not sure if I know what I'm doing with laces but experimenting has been fun ... View attachment 1085190

I actually think yes, there’s a pretty good chance this could work. But there is no substitute for trying in person.

Crazy week at work pushed my shoe maintenance to today. Shell is amazing, here's a circle shot of what i wore this week and cleaned up this am. With all the snow and mud this week, they looked like crap. Not a bit of product applied, all wipe, brush, buff. I love shell.......

The one exception was the Dearborns. I dont get to wear my shoes too hard but the DB's may be the one exception. They are the only boots I'm comfortable wearing 10 months out of the year. Scuff's, crappy edge, and other imperfections on these required a little more attention. No before pic's but i am very pleased with how they turned out....

Thank you Mike. It was a good time by all my friend.
Now I’m convinced, @Misterg12 does in fact have my favorite boot collection! (
next to our beloved Mayor @mdubs of course)
Thank you for the kind words my friend. I owe my nice collection to many here including you.

Most recent addition to my collection of boots. No, it’s not exotic but holy cow am I in love. Right off the bat, these are an amazing fit and probably my most comfortable boots. I am diggin’ the additional stitching that Brogue has included on this new iteration of the Tanker. (No @MrDV -level manicured lawn at this time of the year, but thought I’d snap a couple outdoors as it’s been a very long time.)
