Haha didn’t know that, I know quite a few boutique use Sam as well. Not a lot guys does alterations in house these days I guess (RL and Paul Stuart come to mind)

now come to think about it, I ordered a jacket during the earlier part of COVID from them that was available in HK (but sold out in NY in my size) I asked them to finish sleeve before shipping time and that was sent to Sam as well.

Dropped by Sam's place yesterday to get a jacket and pants altered. 1 month turn around.

He's done a couple things for me over the past few weeks and it was usually the 2 week turnaround for 1 or 2 pieces of work; perhaps there's some influx of weddings or some of his other tailors may have been out.

I bought a 3PB jacket from the Armoury back in May and turn around for getting the sleeves shortened was a week.

same, but I used to do a lot direct with Sam Wazin, I guess he prioritize Armoury, store etc stuff (he is upfront about the timeline, never pushed maybe can get quicker?)
