Don't mean to derail the thread, but here are some items I have received from the master himself:
1) Reddish Brown jacket (I don't have the specific source/material info. Perhaps Chris can clarify if y'all really interested)

Proof:

2) Green Jacket

And a couple of pants:

Not derailing at all. I'm sure everyone would want more pics of Despos finished products.

It looks fantastic overall and the shoulders are great.

These are probably the best images of Chris Despos' work that I've seen;
Yachtie's images perhaps excepted. Very nice.

Do you have a front shot of the green like #1 of the reddish brown?

The cut looks voxian.

I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Despos last Friday while traveling to Chicago on a work related trip. He was really enthusiastic about his trade and gave me a nice tour of his garments in the making.

Lasix [furosemide],

Thanks for posting the back shot.

Aside for the area between your shoulder blades, I think that the most difficult part, the Achilles heel, for many top level tailors is the smooth incorporation of the undersleeve into the back armscye. Even with my own maker I work on this area after the garment is finished.

About the only poster who I have seen [meticulously] worked this area is Jeffery D's own jackets. Example seen here:

I feel that it limits movement however. I make sure I have a slight ripple neck to the back of the armscye.

Not really. What you don't see is that there is a small amount of drape (gasp!) but I have found a way to get it to line up perfectly with the armscye so from straight on back view it's invisible. You can see it from the side view.

It actually seems very difficult to get across the beautiful hue of green/donegal of this jacket with my camera. I may try a different shot when I get home today (I'm wearing it now with a red sweater and that may show the shade of green and the specks better).

Perhaps it is how I'm standing? Maybe Chris can shed some light on this.

It shows better once I blew it up to full resolution.

Would be very interesting to hear Despos's views on certain aspects of these garments.

To me, the trousers are a bit off. Your calves are large and/or bow backward (don't know the technical term) and this seems to be obstructing a clean fall.

Also something is off about the front of the jackets. The buttoning point is rather high, and something seems "sharp" about the way the quarters open up. My eyes are also drawn to the inconsistent angles of the quarters vs. the patch pocket corners. I would prefer a longer front (as compared to the back in the side view).

Overall these are just technical iGent nitpicks of the photos, but the overall silhouette and fit of the jacket is very nice, especially the shoulders.

Agree with above,it seems as though the jacket has a front balance problem. Not sure what is going on with quarters, not centered?

Here's a closer back shot. Looks great to me. I don't really see any problems with the armsleeve. It seems impossible not to have wrinkles there, as I will be moving. It's possible to have no wrinkles in a pic, but when you're moving around, I don't see how that won't happen.

I think the "balance" issue is just how I stand. I think I lean a little, so this may cause the slight off center? In any case, I don't think it's all that noticeable. Maybe in a pic, but definitely not in real life.

I certainly lack the sophisticated analytical capabilities of these and several other of the learned commentators in this thread, but the one characteristic of this example I do not like, are the Shoulders. In fact, if I recall correctly, in earlier posts on the Depos oeuvre over the years, I never seem to like the shoulders. Nor do I really like Despos garments in general, despite the very high regard for him in this forum. They're really not to my taste.
