1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

He's one of the most knowledgeable posters here, but also, I hear, an incredible tailor. So I think he deserves his own thread.

Sadly, other than my admiration and desire, I have nothing else to share. So please post pics of your Despos-es. Quotes of your favorite posts from big D are also welcome.

He's not as old as he looks in photographs.

Thanks for the call out Slew. I am the proud wearer of 20, give or take a few, Despos creations with several more being made up.

I have given up posting photos of my clothing (and shoes) as the line between honest, well-informed critique and rancorous bile has been forever blurred on SF. I do, however, think the world of Chris and consider him a friend who also happens to be my tailor.

I am indeed lucky on both accounts.

That is indeed a crying shame as some of us relative newcomers look and learn from the likes of your goodself !! [IMG]

A bit of drape there, but still surprising that you like it considering the structure.

I am able to like things that I do not typically wear myself.

I realize this makes me a bad candidate for Internet religious wars.

This suit was made for me by a Mystery Bespoke Chicago/Dallas Tailor (or MBC/DT, for short). I will not be revealing his name, however as I don't think that such things are appropriate on such a public website. It is my only MBC/DT creation to this point although I hope to commission many other things in the future.

Let me also weigh in on the fact that Despos (who may, or may not have any relationship to the MBC/DT) is a GMF.

    Damn. That's almost a dopey-level sentence.

    Well done.
