I have a patch pocket DB being tailored as we speak. Look out for it in the WRYWRN thread, I just might beat you to the punch on looking like a jacka55.

Your light blue DB was part of the inspiration. Sans purse of course

I wussed out and went SB. In the end, the utility of SB suit + SB blazer trumps the utility of DB suit + DB blazer. Sigh.

You are, indeed, a wussy for letting utility influence a linen suit worn in NYC.

That's like deciding to bungee jump ten feet.

Eh. I have two wedding rehearsal dinners where it will be worn for sure--one in Florida, one in rural Chicagoland. A DB would have been a step too far in both cases.

You were so, so promising only hours ago...when you were three-patching it...

I have a three patch SB cream linen suit enroute from MBTâ„¢, as well as a cream linen three patch odd jacket already here. There's also a cream linen three patch Borrelli Linosa jacket that will shortly go into rotation.

Call me Creamy.

I'd rather not. But that's a lot of cream. I have an Cheaptastic cream/white linen suit but I just don't wear it much. I'm in the camp that believes odd jackets look better when they are darker in color than the accompanying trousers, so would go gray for BS2. Maybe next summer.

Slightly off topic, but...

Fitting 2 suits with Raphael tomorrow, picking up 1 suit and fitting another with Despos on Friday and fitting 2 suits and two odd trousers with Solito/Ambrosi on 3/27.

There, I feel better now.
