Finally convinced my gf to buy something from ts. That chambray dress looked nice, I hope it works out.

Ps she's a spitting image of one of the models you used for the yosemitte shirt last year. I tagged her in a pic on fb last year and people assumed it was her

Hey TS guys,

The last few Hydes I've gotten (plaids, linen/cotton, glacier/ash gingham) all have collars that are a little softer than the original ones (e.g. navy mini gingham). I really like this new softer collar (but still stiff enough to look clean) - is this just certain fabrics or a future restocks of the earlier fabrics going to have it too?

I'd basically just really love the navy gingham with the softer collar.

I find that without fail all my TS stuff shrinks with a wash and dry, despite their protestations that they absolutely won't. :) it's not a matter, but I buy size 40s now, make sure I like it, then give it a wash/dry and voila, they fit like an unwashed size 38. My Sailor Twitch shirt and floral patterns were no exception. The short sleeve shirts all looked a bit ill fitting around the upper top back area, and after a wash they all fit like a dream there with no extra pull in the upper chest buttons.

Everything shrinks in a dryer. I never use it, I cold wash and only hang to dry. As a result I've never had any shrinkage with any of my TS.

Why would anyone put clothes they care about in the dryer? The dryer is for towels, underwear, and gym clothes.

I don't even put gym clothes in there because most of them have the elastic stitching that gets messed up. If it's just a t then sure it does in

I love the democratic fit. I have some denim that is aging well and a pair or chore pants. Love the qualtity of them also. Super legit company that I'm exited to get more stuff from in the future.

Agreed. The democratic fit is excellent. I struggle to find pants that fit well and this is one of the few I can rely on fitting.

Do you guys size down on the shirts? I'm a 42 chest and wear a J Crew M or slim M (bit tight), thinking of going with size M/40 TS. Usually aim for 22ish p2p but unsure because TS has "high armholes".

Also, anyone have shoulder to shoulder measurements for size M and L, standard fit? Thanks!

This implies that everyone has the time, space, or both, to deal with hanging every load of laundry to dry.

They dryer is not implicitly evil. You just need to use it cautiously. There are plenty of fabrics that don't shrink or react poorly to the dryer on the low.

Great to hear bud.

Let me know how she likes everything. I must say, it's a rare breed to come across the TS couple so I'm glad to see the making of one.

@Froosh
From quickly glancing at J.Crew's size chart, it seems like you wear 'em a bit snug. I think you're dead on with our size in a 40 as it should fit just right.

Measurements:
M/40:
It measures a 43 chest and High Point Shoulder measurement is 18 1/2'.

L/42:
It measures a 45 chest which will probably be too large up top for yah.
The HPS is 19 1/4'.
