I've grown weary of my precious overpriced suiting and the constant worry of cleaning and or staining etc. I'm ready to try SuSu MTM. Does anyone have a recommendation of who I should work with within NYC? Any location is fine. Cheers and thanks

Calvin at SuSu Williamsburg and that whole store is good.

Life in the time of Covid has made getting to Williamsburg a bit dicey for me. Anyone have a recommendation of who to work with at the Mad. Ave location?

Does the Jort line fit like the Havanna?

If I am usually able to fit a Sienna, but Havanna is a bit tight in the armpit/chest area due to high armhole, should I stay away from Jort line?

Yes. Jort seems to have higher armholes. Personally, it fits better. You might try a size bigger to see if that changes your fit.

I don't notice a great difference between the two, i.e. the jort and havanna . The sienna doesn't work for me at all though.

Jort has higher armholes vs the Sienna right? I assume same as Havanna

I can barely do the Havanna b/c of my arms and chest, but looks too sloppy or long if I go up.

But I wonder if the more free flowing materials on the Jort help a bit

Does anyone have any experience of one of these jackets, C847 and C1130? They seem to have the same cut, same mill (VBC) and same type of cloth (hopsack). Is it just that they have a slightly different colour or what am I missing?

Both fabrics are available in custom made if you want to see a close up.

Looks to me that the sleeves are slightly too short. I'm considering a custom order to remediate this issue.
Otherwise, I think it looks okay, maybe the shoulders could use 0.5 cm less also? Sleeve pitch looks also very slightly off but I guess it might be too complicated to change that even in custom order?

I think it looks great other than sleeve length! I wonder if they could extend the sleeve enough on that one to make it workable.

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback !
Problem is the working buttonholes :s.
I need to extend the sleeves quite a bit, I think it would look quite weird with the buttonholes too far from the end of the sleeve

You should go to a 36L. Other than the sleeves, the jacket is also too short and the buttoning point too high. Going to the L will improve on all of these.
