1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Next up, and starting a little later tonight so that we can give all those who will hear about the auctions in tomorrow's newsletter a fair shot, will be a Ring Jacket suit, in the winner's size, of course, courtesy of The Armoury (@yfyf and @JeffArmoury ).

Just to give you what will come in the next week or so. Immediately after the Ring Jacket Auction, we will have an auction for a rare, actual MTO pair of shell cordovan Viberg service boots, with a lot of customization available.

Both of these will be 24 hour auctions. Then we will do some more accessories to go into the weekend. @BootSpell @rydenfan and all you other Viberg fans, this will be possibly a once in a lifetime chance, not just to help the kids, but to get a pair of boots that will never be made again, to your specifications.

We will have a lot of auctions, at different price ranges, so there will be chances for everyone to participate and contribute. You may also send a donation directly to styleforum.financial@gmail.com with the subject line "Holiday Charity Drive donation 2015".

In the meantime, please take a look at all of @SpooPoker 's goodies!

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I've been looking at how the money is used, and $2000 funds a single family bedroom for an entire year.

    Just sayin'.

For the ring is it only what the Armoury stocks or can it be used for mto?

Auction 7: Grey "Ice Twist" Ring Jacket from The Armoury.
    Ends Wednesday, Dec 9, 2015.8 p.m. PST

    Let's start the bidding... now.

This auction is for a grey Ring Jacket Ice Twist Wool/Silk Core 184 Suit. (https://thearmoury.com/product/ring-jacket-re024s09-wool-silk-ice-twist-184-suit?Color=Grey)

Ring Jacket are recognized as one of the finest Japanese ready-to-wear producers today. Since 1954, they have built a reputation for creating quality garments blending Japanese, British and American sensibilities with a southern Italian flair. They are one of the few producers who can say their production is completely Japanese, often collaborating with Japanese mills to create unique and distinctive cloths not available anywhere else. Their garments deliver incredible style and quality at an extremely reasonable price. Since 1957, their Kaizuka-City, Osaka, factory has served as their base of operations and continues to grow, joined by a new factory in 1990 at Kuzumi town, Oita. Over the 1960s, Ring Jacket developed a reputation as a small, but unique manufacturer, bringing a refined look to comfortable ready-to-wear pieces. Since then, Ring Jacket has developed a unique sewing style they can truly call their own.

Ring Jacket's "184" suit is a soft garment all around. It has a rounded shoulder and large sleevehead with a slightly shorter body and higher notch lapels. It's our go-to suit model for a slim, classic look. This model is made up in an "Ice Twist" Wool/Silk Blend that is breathable and cool.
Includes flat front trousers to match. We have sizes 44-54 (EU) available.

    Retail: $1540

Let's start the bidding at $775. The minimum increment on a bid will be $25. Please announce bids on this thread. If you wish to be anonymous, you may PM me, and I will proxy the bid for you.

Important note: The bidding will not end if there has been a bid in the last 10 minutes, regardless of time. So, for example, if there is a bid at 2:59 Monday morning, the bidding will go on until 3:09, and if there is a bid before or at that time, the bidding will continue. Essentially, sniping is not going to be effective. It's for charity, y'all.

Here are some pictures to make you all weep and bid generously and often:

If that is a 34r US, then you are in luck. That would translate into a 44 EU, and Ring jacket runs a bit small. I am usually a straight up 40, and I bought a Ring jacket suit in size 50, and had to sell it because it was too small.
