Waiting on suede chukkas in a slightly widened standard size when I saw these on B&S and couldn't resist. The plan is to break them in and "naturally" widen them, rather than immediately re-last, since I haven't heard re-lasting being particularly effective. How many wears until I should consider them broken in and decide whether to relast or not?

FWIW these are crust after ~6 wears with a light wipe after wear. Haven't noticed any particular problems with nicks or creasing.
Get a stretcher.
Which will be needed after trying the 'natural' method of breaking in.
