Highly misleading title, for both the article and the thread. The article even goes on to admit that the Gamarelli socks worn by the Swiss dandy cost $27 apiece. Quite some distance between $27 and $200, even in rhetorical terms.

My RL purple label cashmere cable knit socks are lasting well. Cost $200, but are the best option if you like to keep the heat low.
