These recommendations have been weak. My picks of the mid 90s: Skankin' Pickle, My Super Hero, Jeffries' Fan Club, Buck-o-Nine. As far as classics, how the **** have Fishbone and Madness NOT been mentioned yet? Fishbone was huge with "Skankin' To the Beat". And Madness...well, hell. MADNESS.

I really liked the "Waiting" album when it first came out ('83?) but I re-listened to it in the later 90s and absolutely hated it, just didnt stand the test of time for me. Still their version of "Our Lips Are Sealed" I always liked more than The GoGos
