I have a pair and like them a lot. They're not the ideal winter boot though since they have a leather sole.

I think I'll sno-seal them. I live on Vancouver island and we don't get a harsh winter, just a wet one, so I just need to water proof them, the amount of negotiating ice I have to do is minimal, and use an old pair of hiking boots for that. I only have clarks DBs for boots right now and they're awful in the rain as the crepe sole soaks through super fast. Also, how was the sizing on them?

These are pretty cheap and I'm curious to see if common projects live up to the hype, but I prefer low tops. Also, I'm not sure about sizing. I'm a 9 in chucks, 10 in vans, will a 43 fit?
