Not sure of the terms in respect of shoe manufacturers producing their models for a particular shop/brand: today I saw some nice, slightly antiqued Barrett tramezzas (30% off down to €277) at Mario Sgargi in Bologna in my size (which, in the sales, is amazing). The shop is a very old and high end place, no chain etc. They were 'Barrett for Mario Sgargi'. Is the quality of such products generally identical to the regular shoe, or likely to be inferior. Could we conclude that it depends? But I'm assuming a manufacturer of decent quality products wouldn't compromise on their brand's quality for a client in such a market as this? Excuse any naivity demonstrated ...

Oftentimes manufacturers would build goods to a client-specified cost. BOSE sound systems can be found across the automotive spectrum from $25K Mazdas all the way up to $250K Ferraris. Needless to say, they don't sound anything alike. Do your math from there

Thanks. Fair point. What I forgot to mention was that I saw the same pair in Parma a week or so back but they were regular Barretts, and the full retail before sale discount was the same as these today: €395. So, I could assume they were of similar quality.?
