They were too narrow.

I experimented when I shouldn't have.

I know my fit in F last. I will go with 3636 in the same size as F last next time for these. I liked the P2 but I think the 3636 will fit my foot better.

Also, 3636 just looks really nice IMO.

Oh I like the goyserer too. Is it considered a casual detail in the AH tradition?
My logic is that it general is more suited to a double sole, and particularly the bentivegna usually has a 360 welt which IMO is a casual detail.

The same could be said of some of the over-the-top antiquing that's out there now. Personally, I love it.

Not sure what you're asking...?

I'm saying that some of the OTT norwegese stitched italian shoes - which are often on square-ish toed lasts and feature burnished/interesting leather - stand out significantly when worn with, say, a navy suit. Nothing wrong with that, just that if i'm going to be wearing a formal suit i'd want things to be a bit more coherent.

I prefer these types of shoes with more casual clothes, where I think they can blend in a bit more easily - keeping in mind I wear camo print, purple corduroy, olive tweed, oxidised copper coloured pants casually.

I'm not the biggest fan of antiquing, personally. I prefer to just let it happen naturally.
