1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I had to hold back saying that. I thought it might be intentional so that stiffer laces don't cause issues with the light pants bunching up on the sides. Then again, his pants should be properly hemmed, and he should know how to tie his shoes. Nobody has too much on their mind to tie their shoes properly.

Nicely done, Namor. Those look fantastic, and I think the scratches add a little character to those boots.

I would venture a guess it's because... WINTER IS COMING! Well, I guess, it's already here, but there have definitely been some great boots lately.

J&M made in India, perhaps? Looks like the Afghan counterpart is wearing shoes too with his shalwar + sherwani, but probably John Lobb bespoke, I would guess.

Wow @ Santoni norvegese, Materna semi brogue, and the J&M wingtip! The 3636 looks nice as well.

G&G, meh, looks filmsy compare to the Materna. Can you actually fit in them? They look fairly narrow compare to the rest of the group...

p.s., interesting choice on the black captoe cordovan F last Vass; the equivalent of morning dress in tweed fabric.

I wonder how one person can wear these shoes, the lasts are so diferent!

One more question - do you ususlly take care of you shoes and these shots are just coincidence or it is their everyday condition? Only G&G looks good.

The pics are a result of poor lighting and bad camera angle. The folds of the shell and the creases in the calf can either be reduced or accentuated according to photographic condition. I've seen pics of the same shoes at different angles and they look fantastic condition-wise.
