it looks like colored paste. I wonder why not something clear on leather like that. I would think color is unnecessary, and even maybe undesirable... they look like Patina Central is gonna come naturally for them.

I notice it contains birch oil.

And the Russian leathers are traditionally tanned with birch bark, and treated with birch oil during the orignal tanning process no?

Very interesting indeed.

As to the bbq aroma - sounds good to me!

Where do you get your OTC argyles? I need some in darker colors and the only ones I can ever find are either mid-calf or flashier colors.
