There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

PG, if someone were to describe your shoes in words, I would think that would look a bit off, but seeing them like that shows the combination worked well. They are nice.

PG, usually a massive Vass fan, with couple of pairs myself (some of the same pairs that you have), but in my opinion, that style doesn't suit the U-Last at all. I think it would have looked much better of the F-Last.

I have seen Vass Norweger on both U and F lasts. I was skeptical of the style in U last at first, but I thought it turned out very well, perhaps better than on F last.

Tat might be the least-elegant pair of Vass I've seen (meant with all reschpeck to G).

it's the last that fits him best and fit is paramount... i agree, that the norweger style might be more suitable for the traditional austro-hungarian lasts.

I agree to fit- but, but the styling, as you said, is not as gracious.

    Cross post from Vass Threak.

Some Vashelistic Scotch-grain U-Last Norwegian.. Sounds like desert..

Weird - I'm not keen on them from the looking down shot, but rotating the photograph to get an approximation of the face on view I quite like them. Must be something to do with the pronounced asymmetry of the last. Have you got a proper toe-forward shot?

Very nice - I'd forego having an all English collection for a pair of those [IMG]

I think I've overcome my aversion to shell, particularly with broguing. I've been well and truly indoctrinated.

I'm still holding out on the hatrred for tassel loafers though [IMG]

It's nice to see this shoe posted. I have it and wore it earlier in the week. Without a doubt, it's my most comfortable shoe, and I love its color. I'm not crazy about the looks of the sole, but I love the comfort it provides. Enjoy!
