Is this the best newbie comment ever on this thread?

I guess it's different for every person, but every shoe store I've been in they measure me a US 12 Medium(D I think), and when I went to NYC the John Lobb store, C&J and Leffot all had me in a UK 11E. 11.5 there is way too much heel slippage, even some 11 UK like the belgrave has a slight heel slippage. I guess it all depends on the shoe and person, 1 size down is what I've found works for me.

Not only is Tom a good guy, but he is a great designer. Perry

Beautiful! Are they yours or Tom's? I thought I saw "TP" on the sole?

Very observant! They were ordered for me before I really knew my size, hence they were too small. I've been using it as a display for those interested in TD but decided that they would be better used on Perry's feet as I knew they were his size.

TP now means "To Perry" (from Tom)

This has been the longest 2 weeks, waiting for them. I spent all night polishing them and trying them on. I'm ecstatic!!

Both are just 'amazing" I plan on ordering the Weymouth this week.

Yes, Tricker's really are a punch-above-their-weight shoe. More people should buy them and keep them in business. They don't have a gimmick like Barker Black or a name designer like Grenson, but they've kept making shoes with integrity.

The bottom Trickers are absolutely beautiful. I can't say I like the top pair as much. They are a bit too light in my opinion.
