I like the idea of an F Width in a U Last. I only have one pair of U Last Bals as the last is a bit tight for me. I will try a pair, thank you.

Here is my idea lately. this is a Norweger Slippers in Burgundy in the Peter Last.

I had a choice from Gabor of either slipper, U or Peter and based on my previous fit in the U last chose the less elegant Peter Last.

It does fit famously well however. (I have a near perfect 8.5E UK 606 Last foot (EG)).

For some reason they look flat-footed and platypus-like. May be it's an angle. They would have benefited a lot if they were bals.

This is news to me that Vass is making different width for its most popular last. And it's good news for many like Manton who complains the U being too long or too narrow. Athough the default width fits me quite well, I'd like to try one width size up to see if the fit is better. Is Vass F width as in UK F?

If 16520 meant that he got the U last toeshape with the width of the Vass F last, then the width of the shoe is between a UK D and E.
