I very much enjoyed getting together with everyone again last night, and to finally meet chorse in person.
Again, thank you for bringing a very generous sampling of the Howard Yount goods for us to fondle and covet at our gentleman's tupperware party. Tremendous stuff. I already have enough orders mentally queued up from last night to cover the expense of your trip!
If anyone out there is one the fence about buying something from HY -- take the plunge, you won't be disappointed. As good as the wares look on the website, they are even better in person. I think we were all in disbelief that the wool scarves were just wool; I swear they were so soft and luxurious that I expected a non-trivial amount of cashmere blended in. And the ties -- fantastic. I think we all will be putting orders in on that charcoal & purple plaid, among others. And I'm very much looking forward to some of those unlined linen numbers for next summer.
Neo, thanks for posting the pictures so promptly. Nice job with the collage. And a special thanks to Mrs. Finitia for letting her husband stay out late and have dinner with the gang.
And thanks for all the kind words, it was my pleasure to organize. BTW, more pictures were taken with Chorse's camera as well; but I won't expect to see them posted until he and his wife are back home in NYC.
Lastly, to all those stricken ill and had to bow out: we wish you a speedy recovery!
