    ^How do you like it?

    Today, I wore Rose Ikebana.

Later, I applied some scents from Penhaligon's: Sartorial, Juniper and Blenheim Bouquet. They're all nice.

Surprisingly i like it. Had a great rose opening which lasted only a short while on me. I have 2 sprays on and i think its lacking in projection and longevity as well.

I have an order of Baie rose on the way as well. Will test against it for comparison.

Opus 1870 today. Very nice, too. Just mediocre projection though.

Pre-shower: Profumi del Forte Versilia Vintage Ambra Mediterranea. I like this one quite a bit. It's quite sweet and smoky like Amber Absolute, but less boozy. I also find it quite dry.

    SOTD: Datura Blanche

Sprayed some vintage Knize Ten on my right wrist today. I must find myself a vintage bottle of that stuff.

Also wen to the Dior boutique and tried the different exclusive scents and was not impressed with any of them.

I would have guessed that you'd enjoy Leather Oud and Oud Ispahan. I like Ambre Nuit the best from that series, and if I'm in the right mood, I really like Eau Noire, which is really heavy on the immortelle. Some of them, especially Granville and Bois d'Argent, don't do anything for me at all.

I ended up spraying Ambre Nuit on my left wrist.

I liked the two Oud scents but just feel like they've been done before in better ways.

    Today: Sycomore

Speaking of vetiver, the Dior La Collection Couturier Vetiver is a good one for those who like the fresh, green, and stemmy aspect of this root.

    That's probably my favorite vetiver.

    Pre-shower: Philosykos
SOTD: TF Violet Blonde. It's been a stressful couple of days, so I went with an old favorite. It's amazing how your nose picks up on different aspects of a fragrance when you haven't smelled it for a while. My very first reaction when I put this on today was "Wow, pepper!" Of course I'd noticed the pepper before, but it never appeared front and center like that before.

I switched into Dior Vetiver because of HORNS's earlier post. Even though I don't usually like vetiver-dominant fragrances, I actually like this one.
