Morning Commute - The Convertible

For our latest photo series, we created outfits used for different types of transportation to work. First up is the guy who has the luxury to drive his convertible in the morning. Even in this complicated and challenging situation, a bit of sartorial inspiration can give us a moment of enjoyment. Very nice. Looks like a 3 roll 2, where I've typically seen primarily 2 button from Castangia. I far prefer the 3 roll 2 and like the house, but wish they would produce more 3 button jackets.

Yes that is true. This sportcoat is styled really nicely in every aspect. Plus the cloth is great too.

Pink can be a surprisingly cool color to wear as a sportcoat. Surely not for any setting and occasion, but with the right styling and personal character, it can be a summer favorite. This time we styled it to the max. We imagine a look like this to be worn at a rooftop party in a major metropolis. Hopefully, events like this will return to our lives sooner than it seems today.

Denim and pique is a nice, casual combination for the spring/summer season. Even more so, if your pair your pique shirt with a double-breasted handsewn denim blazer, like this one from Sartoria Chiaia. We are usually not big fans of contrast stitching. Due to the nature and traditions of denim fabric, in this case, the handsewn doppio impuntura and buttonholes enhance the cool/casual factor of the blazer. Leave it to Gennaro Annunziata to come up with new, exciting ways to elevate the traditional look of Neapolitan bespoke tailoring.

Introducing Passus Shoes​

We have a long history of working with the 'créme de la créme' of classic men's shoes. Today, we are proud to introduce a new brand: Passus Shoes.

The project was started last year by a friend: Rezső Kuti.

His idea of producing completely handmade, bespoke quality shoes with 21st Century aesthetics, with no gimmicks, instantly appealed to us and decided to get involved in Passus.

We wanted to create a product that fuses the aesthetics of all “shoemaking schools” we love, using the best raw materials in the world, made by the best craftsmen in the business. We believe the ‘fruit' of this long and hard work speaks for itself and it is finally available.

The first model: “Winston”, a classic cap toe oxford, made from the finest leather uppers, J. Rendenbach oak-bark tanned soles. Completely handmade: hand cut uppers hand-lasted, hand-welted with a handsewn sole attachment, wood pegged waist. Each pair takes 3-4 weeks to finish. Available for the first time as 'ready to wear'.

Gorgeous. I especially like the round-toed models. Do you have a sense of what the lasts tend to tolerate for feet? I.e., what the equivalent go/no-go might be at Edward Green or Vass?

Thank you for your interest. The round toe (Last 1000) models have a similar toe box as the F last from Vass Shoes. They are slightly narrower at the waist for better support. All the shoes are normal (F) width.

So if the F last from Vass if fitting well for you, there is a great chance that our Last 1000 will work for you.
