just picked up a pair of Santoni Knox semi brogues. i've owned a lot of great dress shoes in my day, but none have been this comfortable. will certainly be buying more soon.

Let me ask you boot guys a question...would you wear nice "rugged" boots in snow...say a ski town? Santoni has some boots they classify as urban so clearly not those, but something like the boots above.

Or are boots that cost $$$ not worth wearing in lots of snow cause they could get ruined? Sort of like not wearing an Omega diver watch in water.
