I just got a SS20 sent to me direct from factory ordering it online last month—they are the same medium weight silk lined wool as usual.
Thank you very much for this. No notable differences as far as you can tell? I really anticipate picking one up one of these days if it's the same hefty weight and feel.

Weights are the same. Since the black and white is permeant collection—its non-seasonal.
Only difference is the sizing has updated since it was first released if you haven't had one in a while—I'm 6'2, 180 and went for the 50 over the 52. 48 would be good if you are a little shorter than 6'2. [48 has short sleeves than 50, but same body. 50 has longer sleeves. 52 has longer sleeves and more room in the body]. If you prefer a looser fit go up a size in everything I said.

Agreed with michael. Have a teddy from last season and weight and construction are fantastic.
I always wear 44 but this was the one time that I went out of my way to get a 42. The 44 looks fine and probably on trend but I like the slimmer look so went down a size.

Hey everyone. First time in this thread so hoping I’m posting in the right place. I’m looking for this Wool Blanket Coat (from 2019 I believe) in a 48. If anyone owns one they’re willing to sell or has a lead to one I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

haha quite an assemblage. Sort of feeling that chunky blue scarf too. Instead of a sweater blanket that's like a scarf blanket.

Pitti clown show?
Do you know what's going on here, though? Like, with all those somewhat stylish old men walking together? I have seen a picture similar to that before, and I remember staring at it for a long time. I'm weirdly fascinated by it.

I've never been into the varsity jackets (going to an American public school has given them bad connotations in my mind)--but that guy looks really old and not laid back, which is devastating for trying to look good imo. Someone like that Sebastian Bauer or that old French pop singer could pull them off I think.

No I don't, I was just guessing that it's a crowd shot from Pitti Uomo.

I think it might be. I've been looking for more photos like that, but can't find any good ones. I'm morbidly fascinated by the genre, in particular the older men trying to hold onto looking stylish (which may be because I'm getting older). And that they all look really uptight and are walking in the same direction. This is the only remotely similar one I could find

This one isn't as fascinating to me; but that disastrous pink suit is really the highlight. The chipmunky-lookign dude in the cape would look really cool in better clothes.

Anyway, according to the ysl webstore there is a men's ss collection show on July 14th. That's Bastille day, so hopefully it will be a revolutionary show.

Picked this up 65% off. Needed a backpack and for the price I figured sure why not.
Still kind of torn on it lol.
