Looking at buying the Classic Black Suit (size 46) but I'm a little worried the jacket is going to be too long on me. (I know you can shorten a jacket, but I also know that isn't the best option for suit jackets because it can throw off the proportions.)
I'm only 5'7-5'8.
Can anyone comment on the length and if they think it's just going to be too long for me?

Completely hear you. I only wear their "short" cut blazers. Dior still has slim "court" suits which will be better suited to your height. You're right though, they can shorten it, and since I'm 5'6" I usually have a touch off anyway, but the pockets can be a little awkward if you take off more than a half inch.

I didn't mind the new SL show, very luxe, although I'm so bored of the whole video thing. There's no real drama, although I respect the cinematography and I liked the look of the models.

On a funny note, there a few slimmer versions of TKP in this, surprise surprise!

To be fair, I cherry picked those and there are others that are a similar vibe but kind of cool to me or very striking.

Every season of vaccarello's makes me yearn for the Hedi days even more. I'll grab a shirt here or there or some of the other retread items but ultimately I spend my time hoping to stumble across used items from the Hedi lines. I guess I'm just not "with it".

Hello guys,
which season d02s would fit medium sized thighs best? I usually wear 28/29, but I am afraid some seasons might be too skinny for my build and would like to go for something safe. Thanks!

Hi Pod - Do you like the slim cut from Saint Laurent? It might be safer for the thighs, however, I understand the appeal of the skinnier look especially for pairing with footwear etc in the calves/leg opening. Off the top of my head, I have a pair or two from '18-'19 that are a big more generous in the waist and maybe thighs than other seasons, in particular, a black washed denim MII not raw. They're a go to for me!

What do you think of this take on the shearling jacket? I can't tell if I love it in a 90s rocker vibe or it's too discordant. I have the more classic white shearling which is a much brighter look and I wear a lot.

The one I own now for contrast. So buttery soft:

I'm not that experienced with all seasons of D02's but as a general rule I think the later seasons are a bit more forgiving. In my personal experience that's the case too, 2018 is much less extreme as 2013 for example. You might also enjoy something like the D18 cut which is a slim fit if you want to go that route.

I really dig the wash on that first one. Way more of a vintage look whereas the second one you have is more clean and proper. Second one seems cleaner too because of the way the pocket is alligned with the seam (which I personally don't mind either way).

I like the wash of the black shearling more. Personally, I'm not a fan of white or black shearling, and much prefer a brown/tan shearling. Old fit pic, and excuse the lack of a shirt, but it's the only picture I have of it
